Scopely SEA is searching for an experienced, creative, hard-working Producer who has a passion for gaming and ample experience in mobile content services. This role will be expected to interact with 3rd party developers, publishers and creative agencies around the Asia region, as well as interface with Scopely Team members around the world.
Location & Reporting Line:
This position will be based in Singapore. The Producer will report to the General Manager in Singapore with dotted lines into internal studio heads located in the Culver City, Los Angeles Headquarters, as well as Barcelona, Spain.
What you will do:
Localization & Operations for Existing Titles:
- Collaborate with both Scopely internal studios & 3rd party developer studios to ensure a high quality of localization (translations, graphics, audio/video, UI/UX etc.) for all titles produced overseas that will be distributed in SEA
- Provide clear and concise feedback to developers, actively participate in weekly team playtests, and document issues found
- Support marketing & publishing teams, local platformers (Apple, Google, etc.) and ad agencies to deliver impactful creative executions that efficiently acquire and retain players
- Manage on the ground day-to-day operations while maintaining close communication with overseas stakeholders to ensure they meet deadlines, product KPIs, and financial objectives
New Title Production:
- Identify new potential partnerships & product opportunities
- Once identified, support business development team members as well as HQ studio leadership to pursue new title development opportunities within the Asia Region
- Support the entire game development cycle, from creative concepts to development to release
- Lead product management for products produced in region
What you will need:
- 3+ years producer/product experience in mobile games and/or consumer mobile applications
- Strong appreciation for UI/UX, storytelling, and overall game mechanics
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
- A deep understanding of free-to-play monetization techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of the market, the users and social games
- Ability to collaborate within a multi-functional development team
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin. Competency in other SEA languages will be advantageous
