As a Narrative Designer you will participate in the crafting of a game’s story, creating characters, defining the story behind locations or objects, designing the narrative of missions, building story arcs, and contributing to building the player’s emotional journey.

What you will do:

  • Design rich and entertaining interactive stories.
  • Collaborating in scriptwriting with other game writers.
  • Be able to adapt to existing narrative direction and propose new situations or characters that fit.
  • Keep the game producer updated of all assets needed for those stories.
  • Implement them in Unity using an extended version of X-Node.
  • Be able to think and propose improvements on narrative content based on analytical data.
  • Keeping fluent communication with the development team, art team, and the game producer.
  • Gathering, acknowledging, and responding to internal feedback, adjusting design choices, as necessary.

What you will need:

  • Proven experience as narrative designer or game designer, preferably interactive stories, RPGs, or narrative adventures.
  • 3 years of experience working and integrating games in Unity.
  • Ability to adapt to existing game content and pillars.
  • A deep understanding of the current mobile/social landscape.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enjoy challenges and problem-solving.
  • Passionate about game development.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Experience in mobile F2P.

Essential requirements:

  • With proven experience as a narrative/level designer (complete implementations from concept to delivery).
  • With fluent and clear verbal and written communications in English.
  • Has experience using Unity.
