The Head of Business Operations role is accountable for ensuring the smooth running of all operational aspects of our Mid-core division. The role is responsible for leading and driving strategic and operational efficiency. Partnerships, influence and a service based mindset are key to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for leading and improving operational excellence across the division

  • Responsible for key divisional strategic processes including the divisional mission pyramid, product franchise planning and quarterly business reviews

  • Lead and oversee divisional initiatives, to support strategic priorities and business outcomes

  • Participate in division strategic planning, risk and opportunities management

  • Ensure clear accountability, responsibility and decision making across the division

  • Help instill a culture of analysis, scenario planning and intentional decision making

  • Continuously improve our operational processes to ensure they are efficient, enabling our development teams to focus on making games

  • Lead collaboration across the division, sharing operational best practices

  • Oversee all division initiatives, ensuring we follow through on our strategic goals, initiatives and tactics

  • Manage stakeholders to build alignment and excitement around divisional initiatives

  • Responsible for AOP creation and submission across the division

  • In collaboration with Finance, support product teams with business case creation, P&Ls, ROI analysis, reporting and scenario planning

  • Partner with Finance to drive efficient and accurate divisional financial budgeting, forecasting and pacing

  • Be the bridge between the division and Scopely for new and regular processes

  • Challenge the status quo, always seeking to find ways to improve and strive for excellence

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience with growing levels of responsibility

  • 8+ years of experience with strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity or strategy & operations at a high-growth company

  • Experience working in the Gaming Industry highly preferred

  • Master’s degrees (MBA highly preferred)

  • Have excellent strategic, problem-solving & analytical skills and ability to synthesize a compelling story to drive alignment and outcomes

  • Have experience with executive-level engagement as business, operational, and strategic thought partner

  • You deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured environment leading team without direct authority
