Scopely is looking for a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to lead talent acquisition delivery across our largest games studios producing games including Star Trek Fleet Command, Kingdom Maker, Marvel Strike Force, WWE and more as well as unannounced titles in our Midcore division. You will be director of a global team, managing two teams and two direct reports (senior manager/director level) with TA managers and their teams reporting to them.

This role can be based in Barcelona, UK (remote) or Dublin.

As a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition you will be part of the TA Senior Leadership team, working together to lead the recruiting on the divisional level and help develop the long term interest of recruitment at Scopely. This role reports to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition.

What you will do:

  • EMBRACE THE ADVENTURE: lead the overarching strategy for talent acquisition delivery in Midcore, supporting the senior managers/directors reporting to you to result in fast paced high volume recruitment in an ever growing and thriving business

  • ITERATE TO GREATNESS: design, plan and execute employer branding activities with the aim to elevate our overall approach to talent acquisition

  • CARE DEEPLY: empower, enable, mentor and motivate your managers to confidently manage the dynamic recruiting process in a fast paced, global, and ever changing environment and ensure that any challenges are overcome smoothly through collaboration and coaching

  • Initiate and lead collaboration across the company with our colleagues across the People division, other corporate functions and develop a strong partnership driven approach with the Midcore senior leadership

  • IGNITE PASSION, EARN LOYALTY: work closely with the game teams leadership to achieve a highly competitive TA function focused on true TA excellence that enables the division to forge forward with its strategy and goals

What you will bring:

  • Strong in-house gaming recruiting experience, and experience leading multiple teams with managers (who may have managers reporting to them)

  • Proven track record of building and leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams on a global level

  • Passion for process optimization and a focus on continuous improvement and iteration

  • A data driven approach to determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts

  • Experience as a head of talent acquisition and leading a global team with several management layers are a strong plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
