Our product managers work with an all-star team of engineers, artists, and designers to build mobile games that are addictive, appealing and inherently social. You will manage the entire product lifecycle from the initial design phase through live-game optimization for titles enjoyed by millions of users. Combining analytical rigor with creative vision and executional excellence, this will be an opportunity to put your stamp on the future of social and mobile gaming.

Scopely is looking for an industry expert who is intimately aware of game KPIs and possesses a deep understanding of the systems and mechanics that move metrics. Live-ops is your bread and butter. You spend every waking minute figuring out how to increase engagement, monetization and virality of F2P games and you understand how to motivate and manage a team of all-stars.

What will you do:

  • Manage and develop high caliber PM's
  • Own full product life-cycle for mobile games from ideation through live-game optimization
  • Operate your games as a business unit, responsible for revenue objectives
  • Formulate product strategy and create engaging game mechanics and core game loops
  • Partner with engineers, artists, and designers to develop core features and campaigns for new and existing games
  • Wireframe and spec features, optimize core social mechanics within titles, and leverage virtual economies
  • Conduct quantitative analyses of data to provide key insights into product performance and uncover opportunities for further engagement and monetization

What do you need:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Product Manager in social or mobile free to play gaming
  • Passion for creating great products and addictive user experiences
  • Uncanny ability to make sense of large sets of data and metrics with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Ability to effectively balance the needs of technology, business, and user experience
  • Experience managing and training other Product Managers
  • Experience managing P&Ls and scaling multiple product lines is a plus
