As Director, Global Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B), reporting to the Vice President, DEI&B, you will manage the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion projects to support Scopely’s DEI&B Roadmap and strategy. You will promote the importance and value of a diverse and inclusive workforce. You will promote global D&I programs that support our workforce diversity, inclusiveness, and retention opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the D&I strategy for Scopely, including the integration of diversity and inclusion into core people and business processes
  • Create D&I strategies in partnership with the People teams as it relates to recruitment, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement/retention
  • Provide recommendations and actions to gow representation of women and people of color throughout the organization
  • Partner with People Business Partners and business leaders to build annual Business Action plans that achieve results based on division needs
  • Be a strategic advisor and expert to senior leaders on appropriate channels and content
  • Craft policies, programs, and other resources to educate employees about diversity and inclusion standard methodologies and behaviors
  • Develop and analyze metrics on an established schedule to measure progress and effectiveness of the DEI&B strategy
  • Provide tools, systems, and actions to ensure behaviors are aligned with our values
  • Oversee governance structure to align and promote that the goals of diversity & inclusion are prioritized and implemented
  • Provide oversight for all internal diversity and inclusion programs and policies, including Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and activities
  • Oversee strategy and effectiveness of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), councils across our global enterprise, providing coaching and thought partnership on programming
  • Develop all enterprise strategies, programs, training, and frameworks aimed at improving and promoting a culture based on values, belonging, and inclusion
  • Develop a network of values champions, providing coaching and leadership to support their culture change efforts
  • Oversee daily operations of all programs related to the initiative, applying structured methodology to lead change management activities
  • Oversee the communication strategy of a comprehensive internal D&I program
  • Build and lead a team of D&I partners in the development of Scopely’s D&I strategy
  • Incorporate global perspectives to implement D&I programs at global scale
  • Develop partnerships to enhance Scopely's position in the gaming industry
  • Represent Scopely within the gaming industry and beyond to grow our reputation as an employer of choice for talent from diverse backgrounds
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in DEI&B-related people processes, policies, educational programs, initiatives, and trainings
  • Maintain a strong awareness of global (North America, Europe, APAC) diversity issues and trends; educate internal partners on diversity, equity and inclusion areas of focus
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team on diversity sourcing techniques, best practices, attraction strategy, and social media content
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, direction and leadership support to ERG Leaders, Executive Sponsors and its members
  • Oversee, manage and champion annual diversity budget and external partnerships

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in the areas of influence; change leadership; or diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy with experience implementing successful programs
  • Experience planning and leading global programs at scale with an established point of view on the intersection of US and global D&I programs
  • Experience advising senior leaders on diversity, equity, and inclusion communications projects, and leading programs from concept to completion
  • Experience leading teams across geographic and organizational boundaries
  • Demonstrated experience executing a vision, translating it into actionable goals and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan
  • Experience in translating external and internal trends into innovative practices
  • Proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Communication experience exhibited at all levels within an organization
  • Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, telling stories, driving decisions and measuring impact
  • Interpersonal experience with experience developing relationships with peers and leaders across an organization
  • Experience maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience in scaling company-wide programs with multiple stakeholders
