The Business Manager, Ad Monetization will be a member of the Advertising team and be a contributor to the overall operations, strategy, direction of the team, and product offerings. This role includes leadership and oversight of operational and revenue efficiency, but is not limited to the utilization of ad supply, which includes proactive streamlining of product-level analysis to regularly understand inventory impression capacity and availability, as well as actualized data like sell-through rate, revenue, billing accuracy, partnership health and yield management. The Revenue Operations Manager will also collaborate with our product, sales, revenue operations and other teams to help and improve campaign strategy, execution and analysis


  • Own the strategy and roadmap for key ad product/business areas as well as direct the prioritization and development of our ad tech products and platform features

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and game studio leadership to define the vision, strategy, and business model for various product launches

  • Data analysis to identify opportunities for key initiatives to improve the player experience and advertiser performance while overcoming technical hurdles to drive new, innovative ad products to market

  • Optimize ad products by designing and conducting A/B experiments, including building data models to set expected outcomes of experiments

  • Closely track outcomes of the engineering staff to keep pace of work on schedule while helping prioritize resources

  • Exhibit sound ad product judgment, advise on industry best practices, present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals

  • Conduct ongoing performance analysis and advise on technical implementation of web/mobile code improvements to increase yield

  • Lead new business development for new potential demand partners

  • Manage web platform ads performance

  • Partner with our Product Development team to build innovative advertising solutions that enhance the ads user experience and engagement rate

  • Partner with Finance and product team to ensure accuracy on forecasts

  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable team to close out monthly billing and resolve monthly and ongoing invoicing queries


  • 3+ years digital advertising experience preferably on the publisher side, with 2 years managing Customer Success and Ad Operations teams

  • BS/BA or equivalent degree, MBA is a plus

  • Expertise in the mobile advertising ecosystem; different ad technology stacks and vendors and how they fit into the digital advertising ecosystem

  • Knowledge of Web advertising

  • Strong knowledge of campaign lifecycle management, ad sales process, trafficking, QA, performance analytics/reporting

  • Detailed and clear verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders as presentations of ideas and outcomes to senior studio leadership are common

  • Detail oriented and exceptional documentation skills

  • Strong understanding of ad tech, such as targeting, programmatic, mediation, reward-based video, SSP’s and DSP’s

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly master new productivity software application tools

  • Expertise in training various ad operations disciplines and concepts

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with all levels of employees

  • Experience in Business Development is a plus

  • Knowledge of SQL, Looker, and Tableau is a plus

  • Ability to articulate thoughts and concepts fluidly
