Scopely is currently seeking an experienced Art Producer to join one of our premier internal development studios.

This studio is currently working with a world-class IP and is striving towards groundbreaking innovation in an exciting space.

The role we are looking to fill will report to the Executive Producer on the project and will be pivotal to delivering high-quality art assets at a rate and quality level that deliver on the promise of the IP.

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong understanding of art development pipeline and game production, fully equipped to own and drive internal art production with the Art Director. This person will lead the task management coming from feature development teams to the Art Team without needing day-to-day support or supervision.

What you will do

  • Be the producer of art tasks by owning the art prioritization and Jira ticket creation
  • Liaise with feature development teams to sufficiently describe art tasks to make them actionable for the Art Team
  • Work with Art Leadership to organize/prioritize backlog tasks
  • Coordinate with the Senior Art Producer to establish integration points with feature development teams
  • Organize and own Art Team (Art Pod) rituals (planning, restropectives, process/workflow improvements)
  • Attend Feature Pod sprint rituals as Art representative, or organize for Art ICs to attend
  • Establish and standardize processes and status reporting methodologies for production to facilitate communication amongst cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Participate in leadership planning and strategizing for initiatives within the team and across various studio groups
  • Plan and execute art support for multiple features, in collaboration with feature producers
  • Accountable to how our team releases updates for our live game - ensure the timely release and success of the art supporting the product features
  • Support live operations as needed
  • Be an excellent communicator within the team, project leads
  • Plan and manage dependencies and solve issues together with other studio teams and outsourcing partners
  • Tackle production problems strategically and is able to work through people to achieve results
  • Strives to care for the Art Team at large, removing roadblocks, facilitating smooth working relationships and generally caring for the individuals in the team

What you will need

  • 5-8 years of Game Production experience, working as an Art Producer or in a similar capacity
  • Strong understanding in 3D game art development pipeline, experience as an Art IC a plus
  • Enjoys working on both games in production and live games, able to adapt and execute on the fly
  • Strong organization and strategic skills
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) that is assertive while empathic and diplomatic
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
  • Experience orchestrating work across internal and external outsource teams
  • A strong passion for making top quality games that players love
  • A strong interest in people and making teams work successfully
