NOTE: During the covid-19 period, we are a fully-online team with no central headquarters at this time. Communication is mostly done via Google Hangout and Slack (an instant messaging application). Our office is usually located at 3451 boul. Saint-Laurent, Montreal (QC).
The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing the communication plan (calendar, timelines/deadlines, content) based on the product strategy for our next game. He / She will work in collaboration with the Marketing Director, the Production Team and Community Manager by coordinating the production of marketing materials.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the communication plan and marketing campaigns based on the game product strategy including the content calendar and production schedules;
- In collaboration with the Community Manager, ensure the editorial quality and content publications;
- Support internal teams in the writing and production of various documents (daily meeting);
- Ensure that all external and internal communications are clear, opportune, engaging, high quality and consistent with the brand identity of the game defined by the Marketing Director;
- Coordinate the Community Manager’s posting schedule on social media and website;
- Support the Community Manager in drafting content and updating social networks and websites;
- Perform administrative tasks.
Eligibility requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing and / or production;
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Administration or Communication (equivalent experience considered);
- Excellent priority management, ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects at the same time;
- Fluent in French and English, oral and written;
- Excellent organization and openness to changes;
- Strong ability to manage tasks and projects from concept to completion;
- Advanced knowledge of social networks;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Have an open and collaborative attitude;
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite; MailChimp, Wordpress.
Additional assets:
- Experience in the field of interactive media, video games, entertainment;
- Experience in graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign etc);
- Be a narrative game player;
- Experience in customer service.
