We are looking for an experienced Lead Game Designer to help build and craft a Third Person Shooter with a unique innovative twist on the standard formula. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in game design with a technical background. We value raw talent over hyper specialization, and encourage breadth of expertise particularly in early development stages. An interest in both PC and Mobile platforms is ideal.
ROLE:
- Have a direct hand in shaping a new game from early stages to shipped product
- Create and maintain high-quality gameplay components, mechanics, systems and tools
- Understanding and balancing of in-game economies
- Collaborate with other members to implement core game systems, ensuring they make for the best possible gameplay experience
- Support and grow your teammates through knowledge-sharing, debugging assistance, training, and technical documentation
REQS:
- 4+ years professional experience as a technically-oriented Game Designer
- Fluency in one or more text-based scripting or programming languages
- Experience developing and managing complex game systems, core game loops
- Strong communication skills, ability to self-schedule and drive features with support from design and code leadership
