The Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”) will drive development and execution of a commercialization strategy for an early stage company in eSports trading & odds supply (developed product with first revenues in range of hundreds EUR) with emphasis on product development. The CCO will be responsible for execution and relationship management with suppliers (data rights holders) and customers (biggest betting operators in the world). The CCO will be responsible for market adoption and revenue growth of the organization, while taking global perspective on market opportunities and lead in the assessment and prioritization of geographic expansion. Fundamental will be the establishment of an attractive customer value proposition (b2b) with corresponding sales strategy and execution.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Deliver strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth strategy and process
  • Sales: Develop and implement the company’s international strategy across suppliers (data right holders) and clients (betting operators) to ensure that the company identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive profitable growth by building a solid customer base. Assess priorities, build strong relationships on top executive level and execute deals on the company’s growth objectives
  • Marketing: Lead development of the company’s marketing strategy with an emphasis on achieving market penetration and sales growth with a particular emphasis on company brand & PR build-up
  • Product/SW technology: Understand market and customer needs and ensure its reflection in the company product and its development

Experience & Expertise

  • Sports Betting industry, eSports and start-up background is a strong advantage
  • Track record in commercialisation strategies in early-stage companies
  • Strong and demonstrated strategic and leadership skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop tailor made approach to B2B clients through senior executives as well as track record to build B2B client base
  • Outstanding sales management, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, results oriented and entrepreneurial character
  • Education Bachelors or Master’s degree
  • Professional level of English is a must, Czech or Slovak nationality is not required

Location is Prague city centre, location of Metro B (Národní Třída) with frequent traveling to data rights providers & B2B clients (no need of full time relocation).

Compensation based mainly on performance (contracts signatures bonuses, participation on
equity value increase) with fixed salary.
