Rooster Teeth is looking for a Product Owner to help shape the current and future vision of Roosterteeth.com and related app experiences. In this critical role, you will deliver world-class content viewing and community engagement experiences built around some of the most popular content and brands on the internet.
Responsibilities
- Work with user research and design to target and test new concepts based on user experience data and industry best-practices
- Translate concepts into actionable themes and epics, and write detailed product specifications, with measurable OKRs and KPIs
- Solicit business stakeholder needs, and prioritize against existing and future roadmap considerations
- Take ownership of product features from concept to launch, and track the ongoing success of product releases
- Partner with Rooster Teeth engineering to steward initiatives and epcis though backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and content operations teams on feature go-to-market messaging and execution
- Work with Customer Service to track triage buds and user issues across web and app experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or relevant experience
- 1-2 years of product/project management experience, ideally in a consumer-facing product role
- Proven success driving decisions with data, with hands-on experience using data exploration to drive growth-focused initiatives
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Looker, with strong SQL skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence, and similar product management tools
- Familiarity with fundamentals of modern web architecture, coding languages, APIs, and databases
Bonus If You Have
- Relevant eCommerce experience with proven success optimizing sign-up and purchase flows, including experience with subscription business models
- Experience optimizing and taking iOS/Android mobile apps to market
- Experience wireframing and prototyping concepts and ideas; direct experience in a UX/UI role is highly desirable
