As a junior community manager at Rooster Teeth you’ll be responsible for day-to-day engagement and moderation of our community - including official website and platforms and other officially-managed areas. We’re looking for fun, energetic, and outgoing people who have a passion for bringing people together based on their shared interests. Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for direct site moderation on comments and community posts
  • Manage the workflow and schedule of volunteer moderators
  • Become a point of contact for community members through engagement and interaction on our social platforms
  • Brainstorm ideas for community engagement in relation to brands, content, and events
  • Create and manage documentation for processes and guidelines for CMs and volunteer moderators to follow
  • Identify key interactions that could occur from staff on owned Rooster Teeth platforms
  • Identify key issues in the community that should be addressed
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly community and marketing meetings.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in community management
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent in communication, marketing or related field
  • An understanding and appreciation for Rooster Teeth content
  • Ability to handle tough conversations regarding demographics, beliefs, values and attitudes
  • General understanding of social platforms, their content formats and culture.
  • Excellent written communications.
  • Strong sense of creativity, comedy, and awareness of trends with a desire to further improve skills and techniques.
  • Previous moderation or community management experience a plus.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative suite a plus.
