We are looking to fill a part-time, deliverable-based position with an experienced professional who grasps how to create high-quality online video content. 30 seconds of animation in Blender
$1500 per delivered animation
Directorial or production notes do not adjust deliverable rate

Responsibilities

Utilize Blender to produce 3D animated content under direction.
Work with the Animation Director, Supervisor and Leads to achieve the right look and feel of our shows, providing and responding to critiques and reviews effectively
Strong sense of composition and perspective, assembling the components of a shot/sequence as informed by storyboards when available
Follow established protocols in file management structure, project organization, and version control
Self-assess progress and utilize time management techniques, as well as production tracking software, to meet deadlines and milestones
Communicate effectively and respectfully

Qualifications

2+ years working in a production environment a plus
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceIn-depth proficiency with Blender required, Autodesk Maya a plus.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Shotgun Studio a plus.
Strong sense of visual storytelling (emphasis on character performance, fight choreography, shot composition, and timing)
Strong understanding of animation principles
Understanding of YouTube and internet content helpful
Love of pop culture (comics, movies, anime, games) is a big plus
Work well within a team
