The Audio Code team works closely with Sound Design and other Development teams to develop best-in-class audio solutions for our games. We’re hard at work on delivering the full superhero – and supervillain -gaming experience, through our passion for quality, attention to detail, and originality in videogame audio.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Audio Code Director to anticipate, architect and implement improvements to our audio systems
  • Liaise with Sound Design and Development teams to give direction and feedback on requirements for audio code implementation
  • Own and drive audio features on the current road map through to delivery
  • Collaborate with our Development teams to design and develop new audio systems and pipelines
  • Promote productive and optimal use of our engine, tools and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Advanced C/C++ programming skills
  • Strong understanding of Audio Programming techniques
  • Understanding of the development requirements for the leading game platforms
  • Familiarity the game development production process – ideally with shipped project experience

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of Python / C#
  • Wwise experience
  • Unreal Engine experience UI Design & Programming, e.g. Qt.
