As a Software Engineering Manager for the Studio Automation Platform, you will lead the design and implementation of a highly scalable and performant test automation platform for Roblox Studio. Roblox Studio is the primary IDE for making massively multiplayer online games on the Roblox platform. Studio provides tools for 3D modeling, animation, complete SDLC and testing for teams and individual game developers.

You Are:

  • Passionate about solving complex software engineering problems at scale
  • A visionary leader and a creative thinker experienced in building highly scalable software products
  • Proficient with best practices, methodologies and tools used in the engineering in test domain
  • Hands-on with any of the scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Lua etc.)

You Will:

  • Own the design and implementation of the test automation platform
  • Ensure efficient integration of the test automation platform with the CI/CD pipeline
  • Build tools for unit, component and integration testing for game developers
  • Motivate, mentor and coach a team of talented software engineers
  • Be responsible for hiring top talent and growing the team
  • Evangelize best testing practices across all engineering teams in the organization
