Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in a relevant engineering field or with at least 5 years of equivalent experience
• Experience with Linux systems and shells, daemons, and processes
• Experience programming with languages like Python or Go
• Strong knowledge of TCP, HTTP, DNS and SSL protocols
• Operational experience with HTTP proxying and load balancing software such as Nginx or HAProxy
• Experience with distributed systems in a production operations environment
• Experience working with large scale Internet infrastructure
• Systems configuration management experience with automation tools

Responsibilities:

• Own the network proxy infrastructure for Luobu
• Develop and maintain service monitoring tools such as dashboards and automated alerting
• Forecast network demand and plan capacity
• Improve quality and performance of our user experience
