Senior Software Engineer- Compute Service Communication

As a software engineer in the Infra Compute organization you will create, support, and evolve the compute infrastructure at Roblox as we build Roblox's Private Cloud. Come help us create, support and evolve the infra that manages the millions of containers that serve hundreds of millions of requests per second.

The Infra Compute - Service Communication organization oversees:

  • Service-to-service communication and networking (proxy management solutions including API Gateway, Traefik, Envoy, and in the future Service Mesh)

  • API Frameworks, gRPC clients and in-datacenter communication protocol extensions and support.

  • Securing communication between services, providing observability and metrics for end services to debug network issues.

You Are:

  • Care deeply about production health and reliable, sustainable production systems

  • Love for building and supporting networks, systems and large-scale distributed infrastructure

  • 4+ years of experience in compute infrastructure or related field

  • Customer, team, and quality oriented and like getting things done
