As a Senior Software Engineer on the Bots & Spam pod, you will help us to improve the Roblox experience by combating bad actors on the platform. We are looking for an experienced software engineer that can help us build features to find and address bots on the Roblox platform. The Bots and Spam pod applies ML techniques and anomaly detection to identify bots in near real-time. If you are an engineer who is passionate about solving hard problems, helping users, and building features on a global, scalable platform, the Bots & Spam team might be the perfect fit. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of the Account Integrity Team.

You Are:

  • A backend engineer with 4+ years of working experience
  • Familiar with building scalable systems
  • Experienced with compiled languages such as Golang, C#, or Java
  • Working knowledge of REST or gRPC APIs
  • Focused on writing clear, readable, testable, and monitored code
  • Collaborative team member

You Will:

  • Have interest in Machine Learning, security or Bots
  • Have experience with data pipelines and ETLs
  • Have interest in security or bot mitigation
