We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to partner closely with our Roblox Engine team. The Engine team builds the runtime technology that powers 3D experiences on the Roblox platform. These include the technology and APIs for developers to build high-fidelity, immersive content – such as compiler features, networking, 3D graphics, physics, streaming audio and video, and avatar APIs. You will bring the go-to-market strategy, including positioning, messaging, and channel planning for all important product launches. The role's focus will be on promoting awareness and perception of the Roblox Engine products and APIs to all audiences.
You will be cross-functional with close relationships across Engineering, Product, Developer Relations, Marketing, and Data Science & Analytics. You have outstanding marketing strategy and execution skills, with experience in technical product marketing.
Lead the launch process and drive the GTM strategy, messaging, and positioning for all our Engine products, including Avatar, Streaming, and Physics.
Manage the PMM Lead for the Creator Group, which is democratizing creation by providing an open, collaborative, and extensible platform of professional tools and services – including Roblox Studio, Analytics, Translation, and more.
Develop compelling, evergreen content that educates developers and all partners (users, creators, influencers as relevant) on the product experience and drives use and engagement.
Anticipate movement within our competitive space and users to predict market trends and product needs.
Foster deep cross-collaboration between Product, Marketing, Comms, Partnerships, and Developer teams. Become a trusted advisor to these departments.
Communicate product details internally and externally. The goal is to make sure that all team members are up-to-speed on launch details and external team members have a smooth onboarding on any changes to their experience.
Partner with Product Management to support the vision for our roadmap through the eyes of developers.
Communicate compelling feedback to fuel improvement to existing products and communication.
Report to Head of Product Marketing
7+ years Product Marketing experience preferably with a leading global platform.
Experience leading omnichannel product marketing strategies.
Proficient in messaging, positioning and marketing/content strategy.
Experience driving cross-functional alignment and working closely with product stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborative, globally minded with an extremely high level of audience focus.
Effective being hands-on with individual projects
High attention to detail including precise communications
Experience managing Product Marketing Managers is a plus.
Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
Attention to detail including precise communications.
Experience as a novice creator with Roblox Studio and Lua programming, or another game engine is a plus
