The Manager of Logistics compliance will be responsible ensuring the company meets all requirements for shipments within the Corsair supply chain, including both government and customer requirements. Success in this position means all goods flow smoothly to the destination without delay due to non-compliance and that there are no compliance related fees or penalties.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Serves as the subject matter expert for requirements of international and domestic shipments
- Define, manage, document and trade compliance processes
- Manage and Enhance import/export compliance programs
- Own the accuracy of Schedule B, HTS, and ECCN classifications
- Ensure commercial invoices and other shipping documents meet all applicable requirements
- Collaborate with Product Engineer, Sales, Sales Operations, and appointed Customs Broker to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Manage Duty Drawback and Duty Refund process
- Implement best practices and guidelines to reduce damage/pilferage of shipments
- Set and Manage KPIs and Metrics for logistics compliance
- Develop and conduct employee trainers for logistic compliance
- Contribute to the annual logistics RFP/RFQ and vendor selection process
- Lead the process to create vendor routing guides
- Ensure compliance with customer routing guides
- Track, analyze and report on compliance related expenses
- This is a job that does not fit typical 9-5 hours, applicant must be flexible to work the hours needed to accomplish the job
- Travel up to 5%
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years working in logistics
- Experience with both domestic and international logistics
- Very strong attention to detail
- Customs and Trade Compliance Experience
- Great communication with strong presentation skills
- Self-Starter
- Problem Solver/Innovative
- Current or past Customs Brokerage License is a plus
- Fluency in English required
- Degree in logistics field is preferred
- Ability to work from home when required
