As the Manager of Corporate Security Engineering, you'll play a unique role being hands on with the systems, design, strategy, and implementation of our Corporate Security systems as well as a partner across the company to help Roblox balance innovation with the appropriate amount of security risk. You'll have the ability to build a team to tackle several interesting problems in a growth-fueled company. First, you'll partner with Corporate Engineering to define and set the strategy for securing our environment. Second, you'll establish policies and best practices before rolling these out across the company. Third, we have grown quickly as a company and have big challenges in front of us. You will have the opportunity to help us normalize our practices and set Roblox up for success in a repeatable, scalable way.

You will be part of the Infrastructure Security team, reporting to the Manager of Security Governance and Oversight. You'll work closely with other people in the infosec team as well as cross functionally with Engineering teams across the company.

You Are:

  • A great security leader: You have already led teams and know how to hire, grow and enable great Corporate Security engineers

  • Knowledgeable: You understand many domains of security and have knowledge to connect business challenges to security solutions. You can use your knowledge to challenge your team and your stakeholders, as they will challenge you.

  • Versed in relevant concepts: Identify and Access Management, Authentication & Authorization, Mobile Device Management, Endpoint management, Insider Threat, and corporate systems configuration.

  • Hands On Leader: You are able to dive deep with the teams to help build and configure systems while also balancing this out with a thoughtful leadership approach which allows you to scale your influence through your team.

  • Creative: You take a creative and strategic approach to solving hard problems. We have an incredible platform and many difficult security problems which demand a unique approach.

  • Team-oriented: You are a "people magnet" . You invigorate teams and you are used to leading technical teams in any situation.

  • Communication, influence and leadership: You have experience with setting a vision to solve company-wide problems, and working across organizations to empower your team to execute it.
