As an Engineering Manager within Account Integrity, you will lead our effort to build the systems to support ML-based detection of bad actors on Roblox. We are focused on preventing bad actors from scaled abuse and compromising user accounts across our platform. You will lead and grow a team of engineers to develop world-class detection capabilities through machine learning techniques.

You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience as an engineering manager

  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development with experience delivering highly performant solutions.

  • 7+ years of experience building large-scale ML systems at consumer-facing company

  • 7+ years of solid system design and programming skills

  • The ability to recognize risks, errors, and impact in application development

  • A passion for testing and development

Nice to Have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • Experience in anti-fraud, anti-abuse, trust & safety, or risk

  • Developed data pipelines/models using tools like Hive, Airflow, Kafka, or Spark

  • Strong mathematical, statistical methods experience

  • Programming experience in one compiled (C++, C#, Java) and one interpreted script language (JS, PHP, Python, Lua, etc)

  • Collaboration skills across multiple teams and disciplines
