As the People Operations Director, you will help build our company-wide processes as well as being a key partner to our technology and G&A teams. You have a passion to help build the strategy and execution of our People Operations team. You will report directly to our VP of Human Resources. This is a great opportunity to scale the business a grow a team.
You Are:
- Knowledgeable: 8+ years of People Ops/HR experience; 3+ years in a People Operations Lead role
- Educated: BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent.
- Experienced: you have worked with small to mid-sized companies and helping organizations scale quickly, and at least 2 or more years working in a high-tech, startup with engineering, product and design teams.
- Reliable: you can distinguish sensitive information from non-sensitive information and maintain 100% confidentiality.
- You are always willing to jump in and help out other teams when needed.
- A collaborator: A friendly approach and willingness to take on multiple projects.
- Motivated: You have a curiosity and passion to learn a lot, improve processes, and make Roblox an awesome place to work.

You Will:
- Review existing systems and processes and develop new changes to improve and improve existing people operations from onboarding to orientation, to employee education programs and promotions, to off-boarding and termination to help us scale the business
- Partner with our HRBP's to launch company-wide programs and initiatives including performance management, compensation reviews, while always thinking about how we can scale these programs
- Maintain and update data in our HRIS and across other systems
- Design and develop processes and tools to manage immigration cases
- Ensure our People Team processes comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to help launch essential staffing programs
- Assist on additional people operations, staffing or culture programs
- Manage our Contingent Workforce globally
- Partner with our employee brand to provide and outstanding employee experience for all Robloxians.
