We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer like you with a passion for technical excellence and achieve best-in-class performance optimization and stability. You will be challenged to comprehensively learn EA's Frostbite game engine and core game systems, and then bring improvements and extensions to these technologies. This role will report to our Studio Engineering Line Director, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within a three hour time difference to the Pacific Time Zone to apply.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Excellent C++ coder
  • Shipped game titles, preferably with console experience
  • Expertise in concurrency, memory and performance optimization
  • Experience managing a large codebase with multiple simultaneous development branches
  • Flexibility and desire to work on a variety of game systems, including physics, streaming, rendering, file systems and memory organization
  • Great collaborative skills that support an open working environment
