As Strategic Finance Sr. Manager / Manager for Team China, you will be the FP&A lead for the business units of Team China which includes Publishing, Games Development, IP and Creative, Engineering and Esports BD. Your ability to navigate through ambiguous strategic issues and your experience in finance makes you an all-star for a role that demands both. Since we are a lean finance team, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our global accounting team to support the accounting operations for our China subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Manage strategic plans and forecasts
  • Advise business partners on large investments and help them develop business case
  • Build dashboards and management reports that help business partners interpret their financial performance and key performance indicators
  • Monitor variance to forecast actively and advise business partners on appropriate actions
  • Manage the coordination of our month-end financial reports with the support of accounting staff and third party service provider
  • Implement and improve processes and controls to grow the local accounting function and safeguard assets
  • Be able to work with various global teams (finance/accounting/tax/treasury) and other cross functional teams
  • Be able to identify and raise complex accounting issues to global accounting team

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Good business discernment and ability to generate practical insights and recommendations when facing ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to craft reports and presentations that are easily understood by the less monetarily minded
  • FP&A experience and solid accounting foundation with ability to translate high-level input and ideas into financial or operating models
  • Positive, collaborative attitude
  • Curious, detail-oriented and creative
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
