As Social Strategist, North America, you'll be focused on North American players within the League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics ecosystem, developing regionally targeted plans that ladder into global social strategies and building those plans with ownership. You'll uphold best practices, working within Riot's social ecosystem and processes to promote the dankness of our memes to players in Canada and the United States. You'll participate in crucial conversations within the community and work with creators within that community to amplify their awesomeness. You'll participate in an internal community of practice around social media, ensuring we're all pushing in the same direction and working from the same playbook when we talk to players on networked and partnered channels.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strategic insight to develop long term execution plans, translating North American goals into relevant social media programs
- Act as the owner and advisor of multiple social channels for the North American publishing team, overseeing execution of global campaign work and development of original content for the region
- Work with NA Publishing Leadership to understand regional goals and the global campaign beats
- Identify challenges before/after regular business hours, when needed
- Manage, optimize, and report on campaigns, working with senior team members, identifying needed adjustments and optimizations
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years in social or digital media, at an agency or in-house
- Experience implementing successful community campaigns with gaming audiences
- Experience in social media tools and software (Spredfast, Sprinklr, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- Hands-on and strategic experience in digital/PR/social media
- In depth knowledge and curiosity of digital media landscape
- Experience within gaming/entertainment
- Experience overseeing, optimizing, and executing social budgets across multiple platforms
