As a QA Engineer III on an Unpublished R&D Product, you will be responsible for interacting with Developers across all disciplines to monitor, implement and improve upon testing best practices. You will also ensure the execution of all test coverage within your product space, manage test, telemetry, and defect data, and report regularly on product quality to both the QA Senior Manager and team stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices with our external vendors, and monitoring and improving upon their execution of Tadpole’s test plans and overall test strategy.
Responsibilities:
Triage, monitor, and prioritize the defect database
Improve on methods of test execution across multiple teams
Continuously give feedback on content and code being developed
Regularly participate in team play tests multiple times a week
Shape and build on the team’s play test culture to ensure a quality experience for the team weekly
Collaborate with different disciplines in order to push quality upstream
Author test plans and oversee the execution of test coverage
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Quality Assurance experience with multiple proven product successes
Experience implementing test approaches as part of an overall test strategy
Experience with performance and network testing, tools and strategy
Experience coaching QA team members on test design, planning and execution
Experience driving continuous improvement processes within a team
Experience tasking remote teams and providing feedback on effectiveness.
Desired Qualifications:
Development experience on PC and knowledge of PC hardware
Experience in the AAA FPS space. Passionate about the extraction shooter and/or battle royale genre is a big plus.
