As the Program Manager embedded on the Esports Digital team, you will report to the Product Director of Esports Digital. You will work with Esports Digital team leads and with regional esports leads to develop and launch new fan engagement programs* that use our existing product suite (Drops, Banners, Watch Rewards, Pick'em..) to maximize fan engagement and sentiment. We are looking for expertise across multiple operational disciplines including program design, art production, vendor delivery management. You will evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs, and maintain communication and coordination across all partners including esports team members to create or sunset product engagement programs.

In this context, a program is a cohesive combination of product features and content that will be presented to players using our product set over a finite amount of time, such as a seasonal split or worldwide tournament.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop fan-facing programs using esports products for designated Splits or Global Events
  • Pitch and build agreement for programs with all investors and customers from teams
  • Direct the development of programs, overseeing production processes and workflows including managing all partners and vendors
  • Manage the entire program lifecycle from creation to eventual sunset
  • Measure the impact of programs and partner effectiveness both quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Anticipate interdependencies, navigate tradeoffs and potential risks across operations and product launches, and develop commensurate mitigation strategies
  • Intake requests and coordinate with product teams to prioritize needs and negotiate tradeoffs

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct operational experience managing or working with a global customers
  • 5+ years of leading successful teams in a production capacity (e.g. program management, product delivery management) through all stages of the production lifecycle (prototype, pre-production, production, launch, and full operation). Includes creating production plans and budgets/forecasts, outsourcing, and delivering high-quality results that meet the requirements and goals of the product
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience within operations teams or similar
  • Experience developing creative and working with art and design teams
  • Experience developing creative campaigns
  • Expertise and working knowledge of best practices including project management, agile methodologies, software development, and waterfall
  • Experience leading through uncertainty and promoting informed and aligned decisions
  • Experience working collaboratively across a diverse and ambiguous set of teams and partners
