As a Product Manager II on the Player Platform - Central Player Dynamics team, you'll join a diverse Group focused on delivering software, services, and experiences that are shared between Riot's games and online offerings.

You will translate player and game developer needs into plans for features and systems that promote positive social interactions in Riot's games while ensuring that all of Riot's games integrate with our Conduct Reinforcement Pipeline. You'll work with our Insights and Player Support organizations to identify issues, then propose and build solutions for player experiences with disruptive situations. You will guide your team's product lifecycle from start to finish, with end-to-end responsibility for your team's output with the CPD product roadmap. And you will achieve product outcomes that demonstrate Riot's commitment to thriving together and putting the player's experience first.

You will report to the Product Leadership in our Central Player Dynamics initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with other product and design leaders to promote positive player-to-player experiences in Riot's game ecosystems.
  • Lead your team's product life-cycle from product strategy through delivery and release.
  • Identify and determine opportunities to meet player and game developer needs.
  • Take lead on coordinating select feature and service spaces that need to be cohesive across all of platform experiences (all Riot games; desktop, mobile, web, and consoles).
  • Translate opportunities into a well-defined and prioritized backlog.
  • Manage the team's agile process and provide focus to teams sprint goals.
  • Coordinate with other teams within CPD and across Riot that are delivering pieces of CPD's solution to create a seamless experience so that organizational lines are invisible to players.
  • Develop release plans that bring together many requirements and departments while considering the complex global nature of Riot's business

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience leading production, product management, or development management for large-scale software products serving a global audience.
  • Experience working with design and technology disciplines to meet production plans.
  • Excellent storyteller and communicator, demonstrated experience producing inspiring visions for products.
  • Experience managing the technical and release side of software backlogs and roadmaps.
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies like Scrum & Agile, and have used supporting software (i.e.: JIRA, Favro, Trello).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience using data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Experience working on a variety of software products in the gaming and entertainment space
  • Knowledgeable about the gaming industry including newest trends and events
