As a Producer, you’ll lead passionate cross-functional teams in crafting creative content and incredible experiences for players around the world. By encouraging teams to collaborate, you’ll drive development, smashing through obstacles and driving products into players’ hands. You’ll exceed expectations by helping concept, deliver, improve, and influence creative projects at every stage of production.

LoR - Player Expression and Metagame (Game Production): As a Producer Intern for the Player Expression and Metagame Initiative on Legends of Runeterra, you’ll work closely with teams creating player expression/personalization features and content, as well as teams creating features that support and showcase core gameplay mechanics. You’ll gain experience in game production -- from planning and scheduling to regular stakeholder communication. You’ll be responsible for helping shepherd features through development, and ultimately into player hands.

LoR - Production Engineering (Operations): As a Producer Intern for the Production Engineering Initiative on Legends of Runeterra, you will work closely with teams who focus on the release, operability and sustainability of the game. You will gain experience in the technical production behind a game by assisting with sprint rituals, keeping apprised of work in progress, communicating across initiatives and teams, taking part in live incidents and releases, and anything else to do with unlocking excellence for developers and players.

TFT: As a Production Intern on Teamfight Tactics, you will report to a Game Producer responsible for a large section of the game (Gameplay & Sets, Cosmetics & Monetization, etc…) and support production within that umbrella. You will get hands-on experience with and exposure to a broad swath of game production, from assisting with and running daily meetings and sprint ceremonies, to tracking and monitoring the status of work items, communicating with stakeholders, and anything else required to ship world class features and content to players.

Riot Forge: As a Production Intern in Riot Forge, you will report to a Game Producer responsible for multiple externally developed game projects. You will get hands-on experience with and exposure to a broad swath of publishing game production, from assisting with and running daily meetings and sprint ceremonies, to planning and tracking development dependencies, communicating with stakeholders, and anything else required to ship story-focused single player games to players.

Responsibilities:

LoR: Player Expression and Metagame (Game Production)

  • Assist with, manage, and run team sprint rituals for at least one cross-functional team
  • Report on progress, risks, and status for at least one cross-functional team
  • Collaborate with other feature producers, to identify and resolve dependencies

LoR: Production Engineering (Operations)

  • Assist with, manage, and run team sprint rituals for at least one cross-functional team
  • Support live incident triage and/or release activities
  • Collaborate with the Initiative Delivery Lead on reports to leadership and stakeholders

TFT:

  • Assist with, manage, and run team sprint rituals for at least one cross-functional team
  • Support all development needs for at least one cross-functional team within TFT
  • Generate and present reports to leadership and stakeholders based on production status and data
  • Meet & shadow other game producers to learn what good looks like and how TFT can improve
  • Drive one-off special projects from start to finish in collaboration with other team members.

Riot Forge:

  • Assist with, manage, and run rituals & ceremonies for core team and two game projects
  • Create and collaborate on game product reports with production status, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Assist with the planning and execution of various aspects of publishing production, including localization, voice over, and first party submissions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college, university or non-degree program
  • Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks at the indicated office during the summer (subject to change based on COVID-19 regulations)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
