As a Game Design Intern, you will design, tweak, and optimize the player experience. Your analytical skills, player insight, and creativity aid in crafting in- and out-of-game experiences that engage and surprise players. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work with every tool at hand to innovate and iterate player-focused designs that'll delight millions around the world.
Legends of Runeterra (LoR) is our new collectible card game (CCG) featuring beloved Champions from the League of Legends universe. On our team, we’re looking for Game Designers at multiple levels to design experiences!
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop new cards for new products, including new LoR Champions
- Design and implement new “lab” experiments; our rotating game modes
- Update cards to better support a healthy live metagame
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college, university or non degree program
- Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 week at our Santa Monica Headquarters (subject to change based on COVID-19 restrictions)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working on projects with teammates
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience and passion for turn based strategy games, esp. Legends of Runeterra!
