As the Director, Strategic Finance for Worldwide Publishing, you'll report directly to the Director for Strategic Advisory within Worldwide Publishing. You will partner with the Worldwide Publishing Leadership team to build relevant strategic and financial plans, monitor performance against plans, and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to support better decision making. As a leader in your craft and department, you will manage your team, and help develop your vision for Finance excellence within Worldwide Publishing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the President, Worldwide Publishing and the Worldwide Publishing leadership team to support decision-making and align on strategic and financial priorities
  • Lead the financial strategy and budgeting approach for Worldwide Publishing and develop portfolio allocation methodologies across teams and products
  • Manage financial forecasting as part of Riot’s strategic planning and forecasting (SPF) process and monitor performance against plans
  • Oversee and shape the global operating model for regional Finance professionals across 10+ offices in Worldwide Publishing
  • Partner closely with the Worldwide Publishing Strategy team to develop strategic financial analysis, such as return on investment, on key deals and decisions
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and support business development efforts on a global scale
  • Partner with central Finance, Tax and Treasury, Accounting and Purchasing functions to service Worldwide Publishing needs
  • Lead, mentor and support career growth for a high achieving team of Finance professionals based in LA

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years experience in Finance (FP&A, Corporate Finance or Strategic Planning), or 10+ years with an MBA
  • 8+ years of experience applying strategic frameworks to business problems from a financial perspective
  • 4+ years experience directly managing other Finance professionals
  • Expert knowledge of financial systems for planning and reporting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of gaming industry and publishing business models
  • Experience with developing and maintaining product portfolio allocation strategies
  • Experience directly supporting SVP+ stakeholders as a finance partner
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and overseeing financial strategy across a global team
  • Experience with incorporating accounting, tax, and treasury considerations into the financial strategy for a global team
