Re-recording Mixers at Riot have a broad understanding of Dialog, Music, and Sound Editorial and a deep knowledge of how those elements interact to tell a story. Re-Recording Mixers want to create technically exquisite soundscapes for each or Riot's cinematic products. As a Re-Recording Mixer at Riot, you're an expert in Pro Tools. You have an effortless understanding of industry hardware, mix standards, formats, and deliverables. You are familiar with all of the concepts related to audio sub-crafts which you manage and can bring them together cohesively within the vision of your team!

As a Re-Recording Mixer in Riot Audio Post-Production, you'll mix and deliver industry standard work for linear media. Have clear understanding of post-production standards, you will provide thoughtful and iconic cinematic soundscapes. This will involve coordinating and communicating creative intent with sound designers, composers, and creative leads, and working with teams across Riot to understand their product, and to provide guidance. You will work with a passionate team of audio and video professionals. In Riot Audio Post-Production you will join a group of eccentric storytellers, craftspeople, and creative thinkers. Responsibilities:

  • Work across products with diverse teams on the Re-Recording Mix of Dialog, Sound, and Music
  • Dual excellence in Mixing and Sound Design
  • Ensure the Technical Quality for Linear Media across Riot
  • Sound Recording and Editorial (Dialog, Foley, ADR)
  • Bring creative solutions to Audio leadership
  • Work with Riot Games Marketing and Audio Teams on League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, VALORANT, Riot Forge Games, and unreleased titles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio, Media, or Related Field
  • 5+ years audio industry experience in film, television, or games
  • Expert knowledge of audio post-production tools & techniques (ProTools, Nuendo, Reaper, Izotope, Waves, and Native Instruments)
  • Advanced knowledge of Sound Editorial and Design
  • Intermediate knowledge of Dialog and Music Editorial Techniques
  • Understanding of Recording Techniques

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience working in traditional audio post-production services
