Right Formula are looking to recruit an eSports Manager to develop and manage the eSports proposition for one of our clients.

Initially working on a fixed term contract until the end of the year, the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact with our client to support the management of their portfolio of assets which include teams, rights holders, players and ambassadors from around the world.

The eSports Manager will be required to develop close relationships with a variety of functions both internally and externally including communications, PR, media, content, marketing, strategy and business operations to drive awareness, sales, community growth and engagement.

The position will be based within the Right Formula offices in Battersea, London. Salary dependant on experience between £35k - £45k.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of strategy to unite a portfolio of properties in one eco-system
  • Create a network of connections that help build a unique community to support the strategy
  • Coordinate with the client, various stakeholders and internal marketing teams for campaign planning and management
  • Amplify the client on the racing platform
  • Work with talent to help produce content for multiple platforms
  • Management of appearances
  • Drive brand awareness within the gaming audience
  • Connect with media and influencers
  • Engage with the wider esports community outside of racing
  • Provide digital support on the building of an online platform and full 360 social media plans
  • Develop communication and PR plans in line with the client’s objectives
  • Amplify organic and authentic product integration stories
  • Work closely with the client on future gaming product development
  • Management on esports events (both off and online) including logistics, hospitality, appearances and event production

Requirements:

  • Passion for the gaming space and in particular simraicng
  • Complete understanding of the simracing community, commercial opportunities and trends
  • Knowledge of motorsport in the virtual and real world
  • Knowledge of livestreaming on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Gaming and Facebook Live
  • Confident of working across the category
  • Good understanding of the needs of consumers, mobile gamers (casual to professional), as well as spectators
  • Passion for sport is a must, with an understanding of a wide variety of sports
  • Articulate both verbally and in written communication
  • Detail oriented, highly driven, and able to work autonomously and persistently
  • Ability to build relationships and bring people on side quickly
  • Ability to work independently and be self-driven within a team structure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be goal orientated and target driven

Salary: £35,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year
