Role overview

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Digital and Social Media Manager to work across a number of clients operating in different sports as well as being responsible for Right Formula’s own digital channels.

The role will be based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London, and the duties include devising creative concepts and planning social media campaigns through to delivery against a range of clients KPI’s and strategic ambitions. This will include creating content calendars, being proficient at content creation and curation on behalf of client’s, through to post campaign data analysis and optimisation. The suitable candidate will be self- motivated and creative with the ambition and vision to make this role ‘their own’ and must be comfortable at presenting at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a digital strategy for Right Formula’s clients and Right Formula as a business
  • Responsibility for creating annual and campaign based content calendars for our clients and for Right Formula
  • Devising creative concepts and ideas for social and digital campaigns for client’s and Right Formula to maximise both awareness and engagement.
  • Oversee the scope, planning, budgeting and delivery of digital activity and campaigns including advising clients on the best allocation of paid media.
  • Day to day management of client’s digital channels including content curation and creation, engaging influencers where applicable
  • Monitoring and day to day management of clients’ and Right Formulas digital channels and responding accordingly to enquiries
  • Responsible for the collation and assessment of data analytics to advise and implement optimisation plans and to ensure maximum campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage external contractors/suppliers and in-house teams to ensure delivery is on time and budget
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts with both clients and rights holders
  • Regular review of clients competition, new technologies and platforms to ensure Right Formula are at the forefront of developments in digital marketing and relevant activity

Skills and Experience Required

  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is preferred
  • An understanding of the sports industry is essential with a preference for an interest or passion for motorsport
  • Excellent understanding of current digital tools and industry trends
  • Plans, organises and uses a systematic approach to get things done. Manages time and resources effectively
  • Prioritises actions and manages tasks through to completion
  • Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Creative & passionate about sponsorship, brand experience, technology showcasing
  • Hungry for the innovative, without forgetting the practical
  • Proactive at delivering innovative projects
  • Motivates and inspires others to perform
  • Self-reliant, working with control and direction
  • Has good relationship management skills and presents the appropriate professional image to customers and external contacts
