DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Work with narrative team to quickly create storyboards for cinematics and gameplay moments
- Help define emotional scenes that will resonate with audiences.
- Work with the cinematic lead to help maintain cinematic pillars
- Explore interesting and innovative scenes that elevate the narrative
- Manage and track storyboard documents
- Help to educate all teams on the storyboarding and storytelling practices

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Must have storyboard portfolio that shows an understanding of story development, scene blocking, character performance, camera work, and cinematic pacing
- Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and creativity in developing storyboards under the guidance of the narrative, art, and design leadership
- Skills:
- Clear and concise visual storyteller with strong illustration skills
- Ability to portray story pacing through visuals
- Excitement for dynamic camera work
- Self-starter with proactive attitude to improve own qualifications
- Passion for sharing insights and ability to coach less experienced people
- Excellent communication, organizational, personal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of game narrative and design.
- Strong understanding of cinematic scene creation
- Well versed in storytelling methods through visuals
- Able to share clear understanding of visual story development.
- Able to problem solve issues that can occur during the various stages of story development
- Experience:
- Film, TV, or game storyboard experience is a must
- Experience with already established IP is a plus
- Able to create digital storyboards is a plus
- Education:
- Undergraduate degree in art related subject; or completion of an intensive art training program; or equivalent independent study and experience.
