Senior Live Services Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA OR Vanouver, BC

Requirements

  • Be the technical leader on an nimble team focused on live features and tooling in Apex Legends Live Service
  • Work with Product teams to solve technical problems and increase operations of the Apex Store and Seasonal Content
  • Manages internal and external partnerships through challenging technical integrations
  • Experience working with Product/Production to create roadmaps/user stories/work items
  • Liaison for technical task planning, estimation and road mapping
  • Mentor team members in technical best practices and manage their career growth

Qualifications

  • Passion for making and playing games.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in developing performant enterprise applications / backend systems
  • Minimum 4 yearsโ€™ professional experience acting as a technical leader/driving roadmaps or requirements
  • Hands on C\C++ Experience
  • Experience working with Web Services and Scripting languages (PHP/LUA)
  • Experience writing scalable, testable, performant code
  • Been part of a team that has shipped at least one AAA title.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with integrating 3rd party live service libraries (Attribution / Analytics / AB Testing / Identity / Etc)

CS Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience

Game Platform experience preferred - Origin/Steam/PS4/Xbox/Switch
