Senior Live Services Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, CA OR Vanouver, BC
Requirements
- Be the technical leader on an nimble team focused on live features and tooling in Apex Legends Live Service
- Work with Product teams to solve technical problems and increase operations of the Apex Store and Seasonal Content
- Manages internal and external partnerships through challenging technical integrations
- Experience working with Product/Production to create roadmaps/user stories/work items
- Liaison for technical task planning, estimation and road mapping
- Mentor team members in technical best practices and manage their career growth
Qualifications
- Passion for making and playing games.
- Minimum 5 years experience in developing performant enterprise applications / backend systems
- Minimum 4 yearsโ professional experience acting as a technical leader/driving roadmaps or requirements
- Hands on C\C++ Experience
- Experience working with Web Services and Scripting languages (PHP/LUA)
- Experience writing scalable, testable, performant code
- Been part of a team that has shipped at least one AAA title.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with integrating 3rd party live service libraries (Attribution / Analytics / AB Testing / Identity / Etc)
CS Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience
Game Platform experience preferred - Origin/Steam/PS4/Xbox/Switch
