Game Analyst Intern Chatsworth, Ca./US Remote

As a Game Analyst, you will apply your quantitative skill set to create insights which directly influence product design and player experience. This internship will be part of analytics team for Respawn Entertainment, based in Chatsworth, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to multiple analytics projects geared to influence game design
  • Perform advanced statistical/machine learning models using massive gameplay datasets
  • Build new Player Segmentation for both gameplay and spender behavioral patterns
  • Help create the reporting suite for Playtests and share insights with game designers
  • Help conduct new Spatial Analyses that help balance maps, weapons, and legends
  • Contribute to Simulations for predicting engagement with gameplay/progression updates
  • Gain experience extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing massive amounts of raw telemetry data across several platforms and regions
  • Work with outstanding game designers and coders on a AAA game franchise

Attributes:

Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative related field, such as:

Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, and Data Science

  • You are analytical with a desire to solve problems
  • Communicate insights using PowerPoint, Word and Excel (can perform complex functions) to technical and non-
  • technical audience
  • Experience with SQL to extract and clean data for analysis
  • Familiarity with R (preferred), Python, SAS, or similar tools used to do data visualization,
  • analysis, prediction and modeling
  • Knowledge of probability, statistics, and descriptive and predictive modeling techniques
  • Experience with data visualization tools or packages
