Role

As Lead LiveOps Product Manager Global, you will own the strategic direction of the central Apex Mobile LiveOps plan. You will be working with a team of product managers, analysts, and other teammates to formulate a strategic vision that is inclusive of the product and regional needs. This role reports to the Senior Director of Performance and Live Operations. You will work closely with Product, Publishing, and Production teams to create best-in-class player experiences and events.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in operating live games and managing complex systems. Strong attention to detail is required as this role has a direct impact on the player experience which is crucial to the product's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a comprehensive strategy and vision for LiveOps that will maximize lifetime player value.
  • Work with Publishing and Product to align on the appropriate tone and offerings to meet the needs of different player segments.
  • Work with a team of product managers around the world to create experiences that resonate both locally and globally.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Designers to ensure we create spaces to test, learn, and iterate on our features.
  • Work with Technical Teams to ensure we have tools that allow our teams around the world to act quickly and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Work with Analysts and Researchers to understand what is working for our players and how we can satisfy their unmet player needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required - the desired focus of studies in Economics, Statistics, Business, Math, or Computer Science
  • Proven impact on game KPIs through events and leveraging LiveOps
  • Experience working with Publishing and Product Teams
  • Analytical acumen
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play games systems and economies
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize work for a team
  • Experience working in games, preferably in global free-to-play environments
  • Experience managing high performing teams
