Role
As Lead Performance Product Manager Global, you will own the strategic direction of Apex Mobile’s economy. You will be working with a team of product managers and analysts to formulate a strategic vision that will achieve our product goals. This role reports to the Director of Product for Performance and will work closely with product and design leads to ensure that our systems deliver a best-in-class player experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in operating live games and managing complex systems. Strong attention to detail is required as this role has a direct impact on the player experience which is crucial to the product's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a comprehensive strategy and vision for the economy that will maximize lifetime player value.
- Lead the requirements that inform the design of economic features
- Manage a team of product managers accountable for modeling and designing the economy and prioritizing projects the team will focus on.
- Collaborate with systems designers to create a roadmap for the economy
- Develop forecasts for the product in collaboration with analytics.
- Drive KPIs and impact through data-informed decisions.
- Analyze the performance of the economy to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required - the desired focus of studies in Economics, Statistics, Business, Math, or Computer Science
- Proven impact on game KPIs through economy or system design
- Analytical acumen
- Deep understanding of free-to-play games systems and economies
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize work for a team
- Experience working in games, preferably in mobile games with complex economies
- Experience managing high performing teams
