We have a unique opportunity for a UI Artist to join our Art team working on Company of Heroes 3. In this role you will create visually stunning game assets and use your creative skills to help us elevate our player experience.
As a UI Artist, you will…
- Collaborate with Designers, Artists, and Programmers to deliver an interactive and functional user experience
- Create visually appealing menus and icons that depict various units, gear, upgrades, and abilities
- Adhere to the UI art style guide to ensure players can enjoy a consistent and immersive gaming experience
- Execute on the vision of the look/feel of UI, and provide feedback to contribute to the best UX/UI for the game
You’re a great fit if you have…
- Prior game development experience as a UI Artist for AAA PC platforms
- Relevant experience as an UI Artist in the games industry
- Strong Adobe skillset, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
- An ability to translate complex information into a user-friendly layout
- Strong visual design skills (i.e., composition, layout, typography, colour theory)
- Traditional 2D skills and the ability to work with 3D assets, basic lighting, and positioning models
- Familiarity with display types and the ability to support a variety of screen resolutions
It’s a bonus if you have…
- Previously shipped RTS titles
- Experience with Scaleform and knowledge of Actionscript
- Experience designing applications for a global and multilingual user base
- An understanding of UX principles and a strong awareness of current trends
