SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Head of finance, the financial analyst supports all departments by proactively keeping them informed while ensuring financial oversight and answering their questions.

Responsabilities

  • Develop and maintain management reports for every head of departments;
  • Analyze monthly results in order to provide financial controls, deliver accurate visibility to managers and keep forecasts up to date;
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reports answering business needs on a detailed or executive level for the head of finance or other head of departments;
  • Assist and help structure managers in their approach to build yearly or project budgets and update them on a regular basis;
  • Simplify the financial information in order to make sure it is well understood by all managers;
  • Serve as a facilitator between the various business units and the accounting department;
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting department in matters of revenues, costs, payables, receivables, accruals, codifications, etc.;
  • Contribute to the modelling of business plans by making the best use of all available information;
  • Create or adapt financial tools to provide proper tracking of new initiatives;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information, of financial nature or pertaining to current or future projects.

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting or related field;
  • CPA designation or in the process of acquiring the title is an asset;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
  • Interest in the field of digital entertainment;
  • Rigour and attention to details;
  • Able to handle several projects at a time while managing time and priorities;
  • Capacity to work within tight deadlines while handling a good level of stress;
  • Professionalism in all interactions, with colleagues and upper management;
  • Solid mastery of Excel, PowerPoint and other tools of the Office suite.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
