As the Talent Acquisition Specialist at Red Storm Entertainment, you’ll get to know game production inside and out as you discover the dynamics between creative and technical staff over the life cycle of a game’s development. You’ll be a reference on Red Storm and game production roles in no time. You will be leading the effort to help us hire the amazing people it takes to create our games. You make an impact, for the candidates you meet and the hiring managers you support. Interacting with candidates across the globe, you give them a first glimpse of who we are and take responsibility for a smooth process and great candidate experience. What you will do:
- Drive the entire recruiting process from job description, posting and interviews all the way to the offer stage
- Take responsibility for the best possible candidate experience
- Build a strong partnership with hiring managers and other stakeholders (such as HR, communications and marketing)
- Act as a brand ambassador at digital and physical job fairs and industry events
- Actively identify and approach talented developers to fill complex and senior/expert-level job openings
- Engage as required with external sourcing organizations to supplement standard company sourcing methods
- Provide guidance as required to prepare internal stakeholders on sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
- Engage in the optimization of workflows and processes within HR and the overall Team
- Ability to create and execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, networking, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
- Improve our academic partnerships and directly influence Red Storms ability to recruit top college and university interns and graduates
- Seek new collaboration opportunities with post-secondary schools
- Build campus recruiting strategies to attract top interns and graduates
- Collaborate with studio directors and production teams to determine internship needs
- Support your team of direct reports with campus recruitment activities (hackathons, game jams, contests, conferences)
- Be yourself and find your way of representing our studio’s values and culture in all areas of your job
QUALIFICATIONS
What you will bring:
- At least 4-5+ years Recruitment experience, preferably in the Games / IT industry
- BS Degree
- Proven track record in delivering on hiring goals
- Previous experience as a technical recruiter/sourcer able to engage and sell talent on new opportunities
- High level of follow up and follow through
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and to manage expectations
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and stay organized
- A positive mindset, emotional intelligence and a sense of humor
- Motivation to work as part of a team and ability to work independently
- Continuously strive to attain weekly/monthly/annual metrics
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize work assignments and multitask
- Proven self-starter and team leader
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and ability to quickly learn new ATS (Smart Recruiter)
- A keen interest in video game culture and the industry is a big plus
