Savvy audiences are increasingly seeking out and consuming Red Bull content online, via a variety of digital platforms. As we continue to grow our credible presence in the gaming community, we are leveraging our experience with passionate digital storytelling to create even more compelling content experiences for Gamers. The Programming and Planning Manager, Gaming will own the day-to-day Gaming content output across Red Bull’s social and owned platforms. They will define video distribution/marketing strategy for a Gaming audience, establish strong value propositions on social channels, ensure consistent content tone & aesthetic, match new social products with content formats, maintain the Gaming content calendar for Red Bull North America, and evaluate audience insights to improve programming and content decisions.

OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY GAMING PROGRAMMING ACROSS THE RED BULL MEDIA NETWORK

  • Execute always-on Gaming social meida camapigns across a varity of platforms that engage Red Bull’s English-speaking audience
  • Grow awareness for and reinforce the legitamacy of Red Bull Gaming
  • Hyper-focused on Gaming audience development and engagement tactics
  • Ensure Red Bull Gaming live streams, VOD, text, image, and web content are represented on all platforms a succinct brand tone; strong social copywriting
  • Own the Gaming content programming content calendar
  • Track and measure performance data to continuously optimize the overall Gaming social media strategy; shed what’s failing and double down on success!
  • Collaboratively work with internal teams (production, marketing, paid media, commercial and platform partnerships) to track, measure, and promote success

CREATE & EVALUATE CONTENT NEEDS

  • Identify Gaming Programming needs per platform; collaborate with Red Bull Social Content develop repeatable formats and wildly successful one-offs
  • Build & implement social Gaming strategies focused on account growth and engagement
  • Collaborate with Commercial Partnerships to execute branded content in compliance with platform T&C and FTC regulations.
  • Execute against the framework of Red Bull Social Media Global standards and guidelines that drive results in the US Gaming market

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES

  • 3+ years of social & digital content marketing experience
  • Gaming industry experience and/or Gaming knowledge highly preferred
  • Use of social media as a marketing tool to build a brand, foster community, build audience for an event or live stream
  • Savvy with posting on all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, reddit and the boards; you’re passionate about engaging with a diverse audience of gamers
  • Proven track record organically growing and optimizing social and digital channels
  • Gaming audience focused: as a Gamer yourself, you understand what fans and players expect from brands and can tailor your Programming strategies to meet (and exceeded!) those expectations
  • Willingness to travel for on-site gaming events, tournaments, etc. and work off days/hours
  • Gaming content operations: live streaming, social media optimization, consumer data collection, platform algorithm behavior
