You will develop commercial brand partnerships from the full portfolio of Red Bull assets including events, content, brand assets and IP. The role will have a specific (but not exclusive) esports focus and works as part of the Red Bull UK marketing team, working closely with the Sports and Culture teams, and Red Bull Media House to create partnerships that are rewarding to clients and inspire audiences to make the most of their time and talents. You will have a passion for branded content and experience of commercial partnerships, including pitching, contracting and client service, including a strong network of contacts and an ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. They will work collaboratively across the Red Bull team to build ideas and proposals and successfully pitch them to clients to create relationships where projects are just the start of longer-term relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Partnerships:

  • Strategic approach to brand partnerships and consultancy-style sales; understanding the relative impact and value of branded content within the context of sponsorship and commercial partnerships.
  • Identify key stakeholders within brands that have the budgets and autonomy to facilitate commercial brand partnerships.
  • Deliver against commercial revenue and profit targets as well as synergy and impact-related KPIs.

Sales:

  • Build key client-side brand relationships within the UK market to generate commercial revenue across Red Bull UK Marketing assets and events and Red Bull Media House Channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial market analysis, client approach and proposal creation, to final negotiations and contracting of partnership agreements.
  • Manage multiple clients, projects and targets simultaneously to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Esports:

  • Primary lead for esports partnerships within Red Bull, while also representing culture and sports opportunities.
  • Responsible for championing industry trends within the esports and gaming vertical and leveraging them internally to drive commercial initiatives.
  • Eternally champion and grow Red Bull’s role within esports, specifically the prominence of The Red Bull Gaming Sphere as a destination for partner events and projects.

Collaboration & pitching:

  • Collaboration with the Red Bull UK marketing teams to generate ideas and commercial proposals to deliver branded content and sponsorship partnerships in a credible, profitable and authentic way.
  • Writing and pitching commercial proposals to marketing, partnership and content teams within UK brands.
  • Demonstrate the premium brand equity and brand values of Red Bull in all internal and external interactions.

EXPERIENCE

That matter most for this role:

  • Strong contact base within the UK Marketing & Advertising industry, established client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of the esports market, trends, publishers and brands within the scene.
  • Proven experience of pitching and delivering commercial partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker who takes initiative and ‘makes things happen’.
  • Senior level media, branded content and sponsorship experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of achievement
  • We value experience over formal education.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Travel up to: 50%
