About Recast

Recast is a direct-to-customer social video platform with big plans to revolutionise the sports broadcasting landscape. Our first goal is to bring the sports and Esports that fans love directly to them, with no monthly subscription. Not only that, they'll earn for watching, sharing and creating content on Recast.

Recast will make it easier for fans to find the content they enjoy and will give personalised access to live streams, official highlights, and the best fan-generated content, whilst creating and sharing content with the community.

About You

You’re a multi-talented Digital Marketing Manager with a wealth of experience in creating, managing and delivering epic digital media campaigns. Working with and reporting to our Head of Communications you will help plan and execute Recast’s digital media strategy. You must be comfortable working in a small team, have a creative flair and enjoy taking ownership of your work.

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, good-natured team at the early stage of building something amazing. Our management team has a wealth of experience and we’ve secured significant funding. What You’ll Do

  • Create and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing strategy including social media campaigns, marketing database and online advertising campaigns.
  • Formulate paid media roadmaps and plan end to end campaigns across all business units in line with best practise and business requirements
  • Work with our management team and i n house designer to create engaging content plans and execute campaigns which are consistent with the overall communications roadmap and brand
  • Working with our external agency you will manage growth through Paid Search, SEO and Affiliates channels, whilst exploring new potential channels
  • Manage day to day paid media activity such as bidding, ad copy testing, quality scores, CPA and conduct daily/weekly/monthly optimisations
  • Allocate the monthly budget across paid media channels i n line with KPIs, forecasts and business objectives
  • Use insight tools, marketing and business data to build media audiences
  • Conduct ongoing competitor, industry and keyword research to propose areas of development, expansion and testing tactics
  • Formulate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, evidence reports and analyse campaign performance on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with other marketing and communication projects where appropriate.

Skills, Experience, Attributes

The Essentials:

  • Experience of working in a digital marketing manager or advertising role either in house or within an agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of implementing and managing social media and digital advertising campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and website analytics as well as hands on knowledge of using tools such as Facebook Ads Manager Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing day to day social media activity including community management and creative copywriting
  • Experience delivering day to day paid media activity such as bidding ad copy testing, CPA and conduct daily/weekly/monthly optimisations
  • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities and a keen eye for spotting trends
  • Outstanding communication, organisational and time management skills

  • Experience of using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (chiefly

  • Understanding of C RM/Email marketing strategy

Job Details

Full-time position in central Edinburgh OR London (though we are mostly remote during this time).
