Role Overview
We are recruiting a Web and Mobile apps Quality Assurance Analyst for the Rebellion Group. Based in our studio in Oxford, you will be an essential part of the web team. We are looking for a fan of our brand who is able to apply a robust and thorough testing approach to our web products and services. You will be experienced in manual and automated testing, writing test cases and producing bug reports.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop test plans to test for functionality, performance, reliability, stability and device/browser compatibility
- Find and/or reproduce bugs and defects in websites and mobile apps, investigating and reporting on these, and verifying fixes before websites/apps go live
- Maintain and update Rebellion bug databases, documenting test results accurately
- Work with the development teams to implement automated testing approaches and create and maintain test cases.
- Get involved with project specs, by planning and estimating test plans for upcoming development projects
- Take ownership of the test process and environments, ensuring projects are released with minimal risk
- Collaborate productively within large multi-disciplined project team environments, working closely with development teams to identify, report and recreate bugs, communicating ideas and issues clearly, to ensure highest quality outcomes
- Managing your time on multiple projects
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience testing Web sites and Android/iOS Mobile apps
- Experience of setting up automated tests e.g. using Selenium or similar tools
- Ability to write, maintain and execute thorough test cases
- Hands on experience of bug testing and tracking software, e.g. JIRA, DevTrack, YouTrack, Testrail
- Expertise in Cross-device and cross-browser testing
- Familiar with accessibility concepts and experienced in evaluating and testing web accessibility
- Methodical approach, with an ability to remain focused when approaching repetitive tasks
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- A genuine passion for cutting edge websites, mobile apps and pushing quality as far as possible
