We’re recruiting a HR Business Partner as part of our HR and Talent team at Rebellion. Based in our studio in Oxford, you’ll be an essential part of the team, reporting to the Head of HR & Recruitment and supporting the development of a high-performing team as we grow.

Providing strong business partnering to the business on all people issues enabling them to deliver across all areas of the company - Rebellion now operates across books, comics, TV and film, but at its core it is still a leading developer and publisher of games. You’ll be providing strategic direction and insight on all people issues, mentoring and coaching line managers to make the best decisions in a fast paced and creative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a 360 HR generalist service to the business.
  • Partner and coach line managers on all people related matters to support the growth of the business.
  • Drive the project management of initiatives from concept to completion as directed by the Head of HR across a range of various projects.
  • Partner the Head of HR to develop and implement new HR practices and processes which meet the organisation's needs and help to resolve business issues.
  • Assist with the design and execution of training and development programmes through coaching and partnering with the business across a broad range of disciplines.
  • Manage all local employee relations issues providing expertise and coaching to local management teams. Issues include sickness management, occupational health, disciplinary to compromise agreements.
  • Be one of the cultural custodians of the Rebellion culture, challenging behaviours which don’t match the company values and expectations.
  • Manage and take accountability for client business areas, proactively driving their people issues and providing them a safe environment for them to bounce ideas or thoughts from.
  • Be a hands on HRBP, be involved in the business, enjoy interacting with the teams and the games and be a positive force within the business.
  • Be a positive change manager, work with your client areas to guide them through change and support them with new processes or functions.

RequirementsExperience and Skills

  • Advanced communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of employment law and ability to deal with employee relations issues at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and delivering within set timescales.
  • High focus on delivering integrated and involved HR generalist support.
  • Ability to coach and hold hands in the business and build relationships quickly.
  • Solutions orientated and able to think outside the box.
  • Strong coaching skills.
  • The ability to challenge and push back to the business without alienating key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in MS Office including Excel, Work and Power point.
