For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd. 

We are looking for a Facilities and Administration Assistant to join our passionate and growing studio!

As a team we look after various sites across the country and your main focus would be Oxford, this includes opening/ closing buildings and ensuring the buildings are maintained and compliant. We also work closely with the other facility team members at other Rebellion studios.

The working hours for this role are 11:30 – 20:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • To prioritise and manage numerous tasks for all buildings at any one time

  • Providing general administration support

  • Meet and greet all visitors ensuring a welcoming and positive introduction to Rebellion

  • Answering and transferring of incoming telephone calls

  • Sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail

  • Arranging couriers, dealing with collections and deliveries when required

  • General administration duties; photocopying, scanning, laminating, filing and taking minutes of meetings

  • Checking and re-ordering of general office supplies (stationery, refreshments, tuck shop, health and safety

  • Supply & management of PPE

  • Maintain company games library

  • Organisation of company social events

  • Maintaining security systems and overseeing of keys holders and keys

  • Health and Safety compliance including monitoring, documenting, and training requirements.

  • Risk assessments – office, fire, working at height, young workers, lone workers, hearing ……

  • Organisation of fire drills and fire marshals

  • Completing display screen assessments

  • Checking and maintaining accurate signage throughout the building

  • Planning and carrying out PAT testing, ensuring records are kept and up to date

  • Deliver a high standard within office environment through taking a hands-on approach with maintenance and office presentation

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience in a similar environment.

  • Used to dealing with multiple priorities at any time

  • Understanding of health & safety measures and precautions

  • Knowledge of facilities management

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages

  • Attention to detail
